 Hi my name's Lydia and I'm addicted to Essie Mint Candy Apple. I've only had this polish for a few months and I've nearly got through half a bottle. Yes I have a problem. So of course I had to have mani with Mint Candy Apple, because it being on my toes is just not enough for me so I decided to go for this little striped and floral number. The lines could have been neater (luckily the flowers cover those up though :P) but I don't have the steadiest hands in the world... aahhh I hate doing freehand stripes so much!

Yet Another Pink Wednesday

Hey! Just a quick little post today as I'm very sleepy and off to bed :P For this Pink Wednesday I did a base colour of Rimmel Grey Matter, whipped Essie Super Bossa Nova (LOVE!) in a curved fashion on top, then finished it all of with a fimo flower.

I have my first ever driving lesson tomorrow and I'm SOOO NERVOUS! So wish me luck! :P

Pink Wednesday Baby!

Hey everyone! So technically it's not Wednesday, it's like half hour past midnight, but I've just come back from the pub (or my second home as I like to call it). I've had such a great day, spent all day at the beach (I luuuuvre living near the beach) then went to the pub to celebrate a friends birthday, so I'm back home now slightly tipsy. I don't know about you, but I find when tipsy is the best time to do a blog post, haha.

Today I have leopard print nails, I was going to do polka dot nails, but I was kind of craving leopard print nails so it just had to be done! The base colour is Orly Pure Porcelain, the light pink is Barry M Bright Pink and the dark pink is Essie Super Bossa Nova.

I've had the Orle Pure Porcelain on for like 5 days now, so if you enlarge the picture you'll see the tip wear, gross! Also, before I added the dark pink my nails looked like some made cow, haha.

Mad cow.

Weekly Haul

Hey! I've had some laptop/SD problems recently so I've only just managed to get my pictures on my laptop, so I've have a bunch of posts lined up for the next few days! I thought I'd start off with the nail polishes I brought this week as I am SO EXCITED about all of them! I splurged a little but they were so worth it!

My first Orly polish! Orly Pure Porcelain, I love this colour so much! It's on my nails right now, tomorrow (when I'm less tired) I'm going to practice some dotting over it. 

How cute are these little bottles?! I love the colours and the pretty shimmers, they're also the first Essie polishes I've ever brought, whooop!! I have Meet Me At Sunset, Smooth Sailing, Braziliant and Super Bossa Nova.

And last but not least is Rimmel Disco Ball, it kind of reminds me of NYC Starry Silver, only all the glitter is the same size.

Well that's it for my haul this week, I'm looking forward to wearing them all! :)

Pink Wednesday

I ordered some nail polish online a few days and it came today and as I was so excited I decided to use a few of them for my Pink Wednesday mani. I used Orly Pure Porcelain and OMG I am so in love with this polish!! It's amazing! I also used Essie Super Bossa Nova, which is such an amazing pink! I love the shimmer to it! I used sellotape to make the pattern.

Then for funsies I decided to add Barry M Pink Iridescent on top, but I didn't take a picture of it until I came back from the pub (my second home) when it was dark. Flash + Glitter = Pants. So you can't see the amazing blue and pink of the glitter. LAME!
