Flower Power

This mani is a bit of a fail, but I'm going to post it anyway. I saw this really cute mani Sharon at Polish Infatuated posted and I fell in love with the flowers, I was wondering how to do it but luckily she linked a tutorial by Jessie at Jelly's Nails (both are really great blogs, you should check them out!) and so I decided to give the flowers a go. The base colour is Barry M Blue Moon and the flowers are Barry M Berry Ice Cream and Barry M Peach Melba.




I think this would have turned out better if I wasn't so heavy handed with the dots.

    The colors work great together. This reminds me of country flower wallpaper. I like it a lot. I don't think it;s a fail at all!

    This is not a fail AT ALL. I absolutely LOVE it. I was just about to do a post on blue moon when i found ure pic, totally painting my nails like this for the weekend, and im a little too excited about it! haha. thanks for the post.

    This is so feminine and cute! I applaud your efforts. I think if they were *too* perfect, they might even look overdone/like nail stickers. This look is just really muted and vintage-y and hip. Love it. :)
