Happy Halloween!

Hey everyone! I hope you all having a greet Halloween and have been dressing up! Unfortunately I'm suck in bed with a migraine, so no Halloween for me, boo! But I did go to a Halloween party on Saturday, so I'll post a picture of me in my little outfit as well as my Halloween nails. :P

This mani is my first splatter I've successfully done, so I'm pretty happy with the results, but I did feel pretty breathless after all that blowing, haha that sounds totally wrong but I don't mean it like that! :P I used Barry M White, Bourjois Rouge Escarpin as the blooooooood and BM-12 for the chains with Konad Black polish.

And here's me in my Halloween costume, I'm a dead bride. My husband killed me, how rude!

Bulletproof

Hey! I have a bit of a weird mani today. I don't really do yellow nails (apart from their natural yellow stained colour :p) but I saw this mani on a blog (don't remember which one) ages ago and have been meaning to try it out ever since. They look a bit like gunshots, right? Because that's what I was going for, haha. The yellow is an unnamed Miss Sporty polish (I have said it a thousand times, but Miss Sporty NAME YOUR POLISHES!), the black and white are the standard Konad stamping polishes and the plate is BM-202.

Leopard Obsessed

Hey everyone! I'm a bit obsessed with leopard print at the moment, so I have another leopard print mani to show you, haha :P I was lacking inspiration so I took inspiration from here. The polishes I used were Berry Ice Cream and Blueberry Ice Cream both by Barry M, then used Black Konad Special Nail Polish to stamp BM-221.

One Of Those Days...

Do you ever have one of those days where stamping just doesn't go right? Well today I had one of those days, I had to stamp all my nails like 3 times and even now I'm not happy with the results but I've given up for the day as it's far to frustrating, espically as my stamping was so perfect the other day. The blue is Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream, the yellow is a nameless Miss Sporty (NAME YOUR POLISHES!!!) and then I stamped BM-224 with Konad Special Nail Polish in black.

Wild Pink Wednesday

Hey! So today I have for you some leopard print nails with french tips on top! I'm kind of loving them apart from I broke a nail as soon as I had finished! Such bad luck, it makes me so sad and now one of my nails looks weird :( The pink is NYC Fashion Ave Fuchsia, which is sooo pretty! Then I used plate BM-221 and stamped it with Black Konad Special Nail Polish, the tips are also that colour.

OMG, I'm such an idiot, I wrote this post on Wednesday and forgot to publish it, oops!

Pink Wednesday, Yo

Really quick post. My nails look super gross, I really should have cleaned up better! The pink is Collection 2000 Siren, the white and black are Konad Special Nail Polish and the stamp is BM-223.

I'll upload a better picture tomorrow when I'm not under the influence of alcohol.

Birthday Presents and Weekly Haul

For my birthday my sister got me some nail goodies!

Yaaay! Pretty rhinestones! Can't wait to bling my nails out with these!

Dotting tools! No longer will I have to ruin bobby pins, haha.

My mum baked me some super yummy chocolate and orange cupcakes for my birthday, with pink icing of course.

Yum!
Now here's the things I've brought this week:

Barry M Pink Iridescent and Collection 2000 Siren

I'm so excited about this! Look at that holo glitter!

I've been really good at not buying nail polish recently, these are the first I've brought in nearly a month! I'm very proud with myself.

Funky French

This is my mani from Monday. I saw this funky french on a blog (I don't remember the blog though sorry!) which I loved so I decided to copy it, she did pink and black though. The blue is Zoya Phoebe and the black is Barry M.

A Very Late Pink Wednesday

I've been such a bad blogger lately, can't believe I haven't posted in a week! I've missed blogging and reading blogs! My birthday was yesterday, I turned 20, so I've been celebrating that all week. I'm feeling very old right now! I have lots of nail posts planned for the next few days though, so I thought I'd start off with my Pink Wednesday nails.

I've seen these butterfly wing nails on a few blogs so I decided to give that a go. Base colour is Siren by Collection 2000, the black is Andrea Fulerton nail pen thing and the white was Konad Special Nail Polish.

Ladybird Nails

I thought I'd go for something cute and fun as I'm been on such a downer lately, so I decided why not ladybirds as I've been wanting to do them for a while! I think they look great, but the eyes creep me out so much! The base colour is Bourjois Rouge Escarpin, which is a really great one coater, then the white and black are Barry M.

Leopard Gradient

Today I have for you another gradient mani, and I am in love with it! I used Revlon Bubble Gum (Which is scented, ooo!) then I sponged Accessorize Orange Flash on top. The orange wasn't as bright as I wanted over the pink, maybe I should have done the orange first? I then finished off the gradient mani with the BM-221 plate.

 With flash.

 Natural light.

I luuuuurve gradient manis!

First Time Gradient

It's Pink Wednesday time! I finally got around to trying out gradient nails, because I love them! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the gradient before I stamped because I got to impatient waiting for my camera to charge. I used Barry M Shocking Pink, Bright Purple and Cyan Blue, but you can't see the purple that well. The plate is BM-205.

RAWR... More Leopard Print

Thought I'd give leopard print another go after my failed glitter leopard print so I went for Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream as a base, an unnamed Miss Sporty polish as the spots (why you no name your polishes, Miss Sporty?) then Barry M Black as the outline. I think the black was a bit harsh and I probably would have been better going with a dark grey.

It's definitely easier to do leopard print on longer nails, I couldn't do as many spots as I'd like with this length. My mum was a bit confused by my nails, at first she thought they were stickers, then she thought I used a template and when I told her I did them by hand she was like "hmm, ok then", haha, bless my mum.

Failed Glitter Leopard Print

So I thought I'd go for a glitter leopard print mani, because I love glitter and I also love leopard print, only I don't have many full glitter nail polishes. So I went for my Barry M blue glitter and my Accessorize Ruby Sparkle as I liked how they looked together, only I discovered once they were on my nail there was no enough contrast between the two and it ended up not looking very good. Annoying!

The black I used was Accessorize Idol. I'll probably try this again some time, as I really love glitter leopard print, I'll just have to use some different glitters and hopefully it will work out better.

Another Weekly Haul.

I've brought far to much this week, so I've decided I'm going not buy anything nail related for like 6 weeks, although knowing me I'll probably crack way before then! So here's all the nail polishes I've brought this week:

These Missy Sporty nail polishes were 2 for £1.99 in Superdrug, so I just had to a few, they were practically free!! In real life the yellow doesn't look like that, blame the flash. My favourite of the 4 is the middle pink one, soooo cute! For some annoying they don't name the nail colours, so I can't tell you want they're called.

Of course I had to buy Barry M and they were 2 for £4.99 in Superdrug! So another bargain there! The pink is called Pink Flamingo and it's a bit coraly. The purple is Berry Ice Cream.

These were another bargain (I was all over the bargains this week!), the purple is called Prince Street (bit of a weird name) and the peachy glitter is Gramercy Glitz, which I'm tempted to use to make a franken.

I seemed to have brought a lot of purples this week, weird. So now onto the Accessorize polishes, the purple glitter is called Ruby Sparkle, which is a bit of a misleading name I think, ruby means red and there's no red! The orange is called Orange Flash, and was another one of my bargains as it was half price! Now the middle one is amazing, although it looks pretty crap with the flash. Here's it without the flash:

Aztec is like this greeny glitter which shines purple in the light. Now I'm not a big fan of green but I love this.

This is a pretty boring group, needed a new topcoat and as these were also on offer (another BARGAIN) for 2 for £6.99 I brought the blue too, which is called Aqua Cool.

I ordered this Konad nail polish online, I think it's called back pearl or something, pretty boring stuff.

My Bundle Monster arrived!!! Yaaaaaaaay! Pretty excited about this, can't wait to try them out. Although because my nails are long the full nail images are to small. How do you bloggers with long nails get around this?

Cute!

I brought some new nails files too as I thought they looked cute and they match my nails.

Ok, so I'm done with the show and tell. That was EXHAUSTING to write up. I won't be posting much in the next few days as I'll be busy packing, which sucks as I really want to do my nails again but they'd just get ruined by the packing :( I so want to try out all my new stamps and nail polishes, oh well impatient me will have to wait until next week, booo!

Yummy Watermelons

So blogger being down, for what seemed like FOREVER, was annoying huh? My last post was deleted but hopefully it'll be back up soon...

Anyway, I was going to do fimo watermelon nails, but I'm kind of traumatised from the last time I tried to cut up fimo canes, so I went with the more literal approach, haha.

Can you tell I did the green and white lines free hand? So messy!

I didn't really have any nail polishes which were watermelon colour, so I did 2 coats of Barry M Bright Red then a thin coat of Rimmel Magenta Magic. The white stripe in Konad Special Nail Polish and the green is Calvin Klein Emerald Green (which is the only green I own!) and then the black is Barry M.

Glitter In The Air

I've been wanting to use one of my glitter polishes for a while, but that much glitter is a nightmare to take off so I don't often wear it, but yesterday I saw this post so I thought I'd glitter up my nails and try it out! Hopefully it works! I used this Barry M blue glitter, which I absolutely LOVE! I have their red too, they're both easily in my top 10 fav nail polishes.

Such bad shrinkage though!!

Does anyone have a way to stop the annoying shrinkage?

Shatter, Shatter, Shatter!

Today I brought the blue and white Barry M shatters. Finally my collection is complete! Super happy to finally find them in a shop and not them being sold out, as per usual. Whoop whoop.

Aren't they so pretty?!

So of course I just had to try them out as soon as I got home and here's the pink over some blue polish, with a matte topcoat, as I luuurve the matte.

I'm really tempted to put the white shatter on top, might do tomorrow or Saturday.
