Half Moons

Hey! I've been meaning to do half moon nails for a while now and I've finally got around to doing them! Well that's a but of a lie, I tried doing them a few months ago, did one nail which turned out DISASTROUS so gave up, haha. I like how it turned out this time, but I would have liked it more if the stupid red wasn't so darn thick! And the thickness led to bubbles in the polish, sad face!

The polishes I used were Orly Pure Porcelain and a gorgeous franken red which I really should name, seeing as how I often go on about how I hate unnamed polishes! I also lost my beloved Seche top coat at my friends the other night, I'm blaming that on the tequila, so the only top coat I have at the moment is my matte top coat, which a bit of a bummer.

Pink Wednesday Baby!

Hey everyone! So technically it's not Wednesday, it's like half hour past midnight, but I've just come back from the pub (or my second home as I like to call it). I've had such a great day, spent all day at the beach (I luuuuvre living near the beach) then went to the pub to celebrate a friends birthday, so I'm back home now slightly tipsy. I don't know about you, but I find when tipsy is the best time to do a blog post, haha.

Today I have leopard print nails, I was going to do polka dot nails, but I was kind of craving leopard print nails so it just had to be done! The base colour is Orly Pure Porcelain, the light pink is Barry M Bright Pink and the dark pink is Essie Super Bossa Nova.

I've had the Orle Pure Porcelain on for like 5 days now, so if you enlarge the picture you'll see the tip wear, gross! Also, before I added the dark pink my nails looked like some made cow, haha.

Pretty Pure Porcelain

Hey! So today I have for you the rather gorgeous Orly Pure Porcelain, I love this polish and I bet it would look great on someone with a tan! There's a hint of pink to this polish but as I took these pictures in sunlight it kind of washes the pink out, what a bummer! Oh well, I still love this polish!

Pink Wednesday

I ordered some nail polish online a few days and it came today and as I was so excited I decided to use a few of them for my Pink Wednesday mani. I used Orly Pure Porcelain and OMG I am so in love with this polish!! It's amazing! I also used Essie Super Bossa Nova, which is such an amazing pink! I love the shimmer to it! I used sellotape to make the pattern.

Then for funsies I decided to add Barry M Pink Iridescent on top, but I didn't take a picture of it until I came back from the pub (my second home) when it was dark. Flash + Glitter = Pants. So you can't see the amazing blue and pink of the glitter. LAME!

Forever

After all the bright colours I've had on my nails recently I really needed something muted and not so in your face, so I went with 17 Forever. After a day I got a little bored so I thought I'd try out my new dotted tools and did some dots with Rimmel Aqua Cool.

After 3 days of this mani I need some colour back on my nails though!  

Rudey Nudey

I'm LOVING nudes at the moment, yesterday I made like 4 nude frankens and I can just tell I'll end up spending a fortune by buying the Zoya ones and any others I can find! I'm pretty obsessed!

I've decided to take more pictures of my right hand as my nails are longer than my left. :P

It's a pretty similar shade to the nude in a previous post but that one was pearl whereas this one isn't. I think I prefer this one, but I do love both.

Nude Nails

I'm kind of loving the nude nail look at the moment, and as I made a nude nail franken the other day I thought I'd give that a try. I think it looks pretty good, although I'll probably be making another nude franken soon, maybe one lighter than my skin tone? Considering this was a franken it applied really well. I don't know about the rest of you, but my franken polishes can be a bit hit and miss with how they apply, but this one only needed 2 coats! Then I put my Seche Vite over it, I still can't get over how glossy it is!!

Franken Mad

I've gone a bit franken mad over the last few days, so here are the ones I've made!

Surprisingly I only made 1 glitter franken, the others were just colours I've wanted for a while but can never find in shops. 

I've wanted a nude nail polish for a while now, but the only ones I find are sheer so I made my own! And I've wanted a light pink for aaaaages and as I had a little bit of a matte top coat left I made the pink franken in there so it's matteified, it also has a gold shimmer to it too, but couldn't capture that in the pic. I'm thinking the pink will be used in my pink Wednesday.

This red is gorgeous! It's a bit more purpley in real life and has a shimmer to it, but you can't see them because my camera is a bit crap. The green glitter is AMAZING, I put loads of different coloured glitter in it.

Here's a close up on my leg, haha, as it's the only way I could get a half decent close up. I should probably think of some names for them, but I'm not that creative.
