My First Pink Wednesday In Ages...

Hey! I have't done a Pink Wednesday in ages, oops! I blame college and not being able to wear nail polish there :( With this mani I started off with Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream, then sponged Barry M Bright Pink and Revlon Bubble Gum to make a nice little gradient effect. I put a nameless Bourjois glitter on the tips too, because I love me some glitter! I also used Barry M Silver Foil with BM-223. I really need to stop taking my pictures in the evening, I end up having to use flash which is completely PANTS and you can't see the details clearly!

Purple and Silver

Hey! Kinda loving this mani, even with my shorter than short nails, and loving how amazing well the Barry M Instant Effect Foil polishes stamp! I can tell I'll be using them all the time! Although I do wish the gold one was more of a gold colour... Anyway, the purple is NYC Prince Street (which is my favourite purple polish evah), used Barry M Instant Effect silver foil and the BM-212 plate.

Don't Get Lippy With Me

Hey! As soon as I saw the lips on my new BM plates I knew I needed a silver mani with red lips! I wish my nails were long/the lips were smaller so I could fit more than one lip on each nail, when my nails are longer I'm so going to be doing this mani again! The polishes I used were Barry M Silver and Red Konad Special Nail Polish with BM-02.

Glitter Gradient

Hey! Today I have for you a glitter gradient! I've been waiting all day for the sun to shine so I could take a decent picture, but alas Mr Sun decided to stay behind the clouds so you can't see the holo goodness of the glitter. The silver glitter is Models Own Juicy Jules and the purple is Accessorize Ruby Sparkle. I can tell you now, I'm REALLY excited to take all this glitter off :P

Sparkling Pink Wednesday

First off, this is an old mani (as my camera is lost and I've searched everywhere for it, I bet one of my dogs has taken it...) and there's really not that much pink and it's technically Thursday... but anyway, happy Pink Wednesday! The base is Models Own Juicy Jules, but I guess I didn't take any pictures of this in direct sunlight as you can't see the AMAZING holo glitter that this polish is and then I put some super cute fimo canes on top. This one has to be my favourite out of all the canes, pink and flowery, win win!

I'm wearing my fake nails here, I miss them :( 

Weekly Haul

Even though I'm not suppose to be buying any nail polish I caved a little this week, but in my defence the nail polishes were either on my wish list or on offer.

I have wanted these Zoya matte polishes FOREVER, so I went on ebay to buy them. So exciting to try these out! 

I brought 3 Miss Sporty nail polishes, as they were on offer and they're apparently good at stamping too! I finally got around to buying Seche Vite, although I did accidentally drop it and spill some of it on my carpet and slippers, so sad! 

Goodies I Brought Today!

Even though I said I wouldn't, I did go out and buy some nail polish, oops! Wasn't many nail polishes I wanted luckily, so I only brought 4 and I forgot to buy a clear topcoat which was the main reason I went out. Annoying! Will have to buy one tomorrow. So, here's what I brought:

The first one is Pink Fever and the photo really doesn't do it justice, it's such a gorgeous colour! The middle one is a crackle polish, hopefully it will crack as well as the Barry M ones and not be a complete disappointment like the 17 crackle. And last but not least is just a glitter top coat, I already brought this a month or so ago, but I lost it, so as it's cheap I brought another one. 

Now the 4th nail polish I brought deserves its own picture because, well, I think I'm in love! I never normally look at the NYC nail polishes, because I don't like how they apply, but today I thought why not have a browse and I saw this and had to have it, it must have been fate as it was the last one! Result!

It's silver glitter then blue and light purple bigger glitter things! It's amazing and a nightmare to try to photograph, haha. 

I also got these in the post today and as you can tell, I was clearly more excited about these than my new polishes, because what kind of girl doesn't love maths books more than polish! 

Silver Obsessed

So I just found these 2 pictures on my SD card, why I didn't move them accross to my lappytop is a mystery, but since they look pretty darn good I though I'd post them.

I love love LOVE silver with black shatter, it has to be my fav look to do with the black shatter. I could wear it all day everyday and never get bored of it, that's how much I love it!

Awkward hand pose is awkward. 

So I don't normally buy models own nail polish, but I'm a sucker for glittah and just had to have it. Unfortunately the picture doesn't do the nail polish justice, but in real life it's mega sparkly and I love it.

I'm planning on trying the marbling effect on my nails today, need to buy some fake nails first though to practice on! I really hope it works out well and looks super cool as I am sooooo excited about trying the technique!!!

Pink Wednesday!

So I survived the treacherous journey home without any damage to my nails, go me! Major accomplishment! I've put the top coat on and tidied up my nails a bit from my 3am preview and here is the end result:

They shine killer in the sun, but there is a lack of sun shinning into my room and I felt like a bit of a wolly trying to take pictures of my nails while standing at the window, especially as my neighbours are having a big BBQ and can see directly into my window. 

Also, in between exams and trains I managed to find some time for some cheeky nail polish shopping and got the FAB Barry M pink Shatter which I've had my eye on for a while, but all the shops were sold out of it... until today!! 

Check it out! I was so excited by the nail polish I just had to take a pic of it before I even unpacked, as you can see by my bag in the background, HA! Can't wait to try that beauty out.

Quick Preview

I was just so excited about my nails I had to take a quick crappy pic on my webcam, at 3am, so the whole world could see! They're not finished yet and still a bit messy, but oh well, you get the general idea on how they'll turn out. I'll finish them tomorrow after my exam and make the 220 mile journey back home, I hope I don't ruin any of them on the journey, but with my heavy bag I just might. Fingers crosses!
